Booklets

My custom booklets are bible reading aids, charts, lists and commentary. The following are some things to keep in mind once you have download. I have provided links to resources to making booklets much easier.

You must have Microsoft Word installed on your computer in order to properly print these custom booklets. You can get a very inexpensive copy of Microsoft Office 2024 Professional Plus LTSC for $29 as a single purchase, single computer license. I paid for Microsoft Office 365 for many years and have recently removed ALL subscription based anything from my life. I have purchased from this site several times when I needed a license for Windows 11 or Office and it is 100% legitimate. When printing, you want a printer that will perform double sided printing automatically. I suppose you could use manual double sided printing but have never tried it. Be sure to choose “Two-Sided printing” and fold on the short edge (click the link to see an example on my printer). Here is the printer I use, it has a higher upfront cost but the ink wells last me for almost a year before I have to refill (and I print alot!)
You will need a stapler that will properly bind the booklet once you have printed. I personally use one I found on Amazon for about $25 and it works great.
If you intend on binding several booklets together for everyday use and carry, you will need a binder that will allow for insertion and removal of booklets with ease. I have about five leather A5 Travelers Notebooks and they work very well. In addition to the binder itself, I add extra elastic bands so I can add more booklets.

To assemble a booklet, you want to print on standard 8 1/2 x 11 paper (I use 20# bond white ink jet paper), and you want to fold each page before you staple. I use this tool to assist in creating the crease. Once all the pages have been assembled, I like to add a cover of a heavier bond colored cardstock.

As I make changes to my booklets, I tend to reprint occasionally and I simply reuse the cardstock cover page. Sometimes I will print out a nice picture onto photo paper and paste on the front of the cardstock so I know which booklet is inside. I also like using metal page markers as way to quickly go to a page that I use often. Email me if you have any questions. Have fun!
