I’m not a huge fan of The Athanasian Creed because it says whoever will be saved before all things that’s necessary that he hold the catholic faith.
It describes the catholic faith, as I read it, as saying that the Holy Ghost is of the Father and of the Son neither made nor created nor begotten but proceeding. This implies that you have to believe that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son, at least if I were an Eastern Christian I would read it that way and I would say that you are excluding me from salvation.
