Calvary Presbyterian Church in San Francisco hosted its first “Drag Queen Bible Story Hour” in June 2023, aimed at offering a message of inclusion, celebrating diverse identities, and countering anti-LGBTQ rhetoric. Led by performers including Joanne Fabrixxx (Rev. Sam Lundquist) and Flamy Grant, the event for all ages featured Bible stories, music, and children’s activities.
